Communications in Plant Sciences publishes three types of articles:

Research Article refers to a publication with basis on an original scientific research on recent issues in plant sciences and related areas. There is no page limit, however the CPS journal encourages short publications.

Review Article refers to a publication with basis on an original literature review on relevant issues in plant sciences and related areas. There is no page limit, however the CPS journal encourages short publications.

Letter refers to an original very short publication where authors can express their critical opinion on some activity or finding, they can report a case, or they can make technical considerations on some important issue in plant sciences and related areas.
